The Story of ISO – Italian Innovation from Bresso
The ISO Diva marked the culmination of Iso Rivolta’s scooter production in the 1950s. Designed and built entirely at the company’s Bresso factory, the Diva reflected Renzo Rivolta’s pursuit of mechanical quality and refined design.
Unlike mass-market scooters of the period, the Diva was engineered with a rigid welded frame, robust suspension, and precise handling. Each unit was assembled and tested on the factory’s internal 750-meter track to ensure performance and reliability.
Although production remained limited, the Diva symbolized Iso’s technical maturity and its transition from small two-wheelers to automobiles such as the Isetta microcar and, later, the grand touring Iso Rivolta models.
The Diva stands today as a representation of postwar Italian craftsmanship — a product of ambition, skill, and the industrial spirit that defined Bresso in the 1950s.
